Our associates are well versed in all aspects of strategic management, performance management, change management, business process management, managed services, information and communication technologies and project management. We pride ourselves on our proven track record for effectively implementing projects on time and within budget. We have vast experience in the general and life insurance, energy and utility industries. With over 23 years in the utilities industry, we have experience with all aspects of electricity, water, gas and refuse.

As head of this professional services firm, Franklyn oversees our people in delivering measurable and enduring impact on behalf of our clients and community.
Franklyn founded Latitude 13Point1 in 2013 after working in the public sector, the general insurance, life insurance and utilities industries, spending over 23 years in utilities, including electric, water, gas and refuse. She has the distinction of being the first woman to join the management team at the Barbados Light & Power Company Limited.
During her career, she received many accolades for her outstanding performance.
Franklyn chaired the PeopleSoft Regional Users’ Group that included members from Jamaica in the north to Suriname in the south.
Her key achievements are in the areas of Organisational Leadership, Project Management and Technical Solutions.
As an organisational leader she transformed a transactional IT function into strategic ICT and properly aligned objectives to corporate strategic initiatives. She is known for successfully driving innovation and building teams capable of executing their mandates with skill and confidence.
Franklyn also led the corporate strategic planning process.
She enhanced operational processes, efficiencies, and costs by leveraging relationships with other executives, vendors, and key stakeholders; built consensus and devised and implemented innovative solutions by optimizing business processes and utilizing information technology.
As a project manager, she established project management policy that led to projects being completed on time and within budget, boosted employee morale and improved turnaround time for issue resolution. She successfully delivered initiatives for virtualization, VoIP, Enterprise Content Management, CRM, Asset Management, Human Capital, Analytics and ERP systems. She was also selected to manage the development a ten-acre greenfield site for corporate offices.
She has served on the boards of the Light & Power Employees’ Credit union and the Cooperator’s General Insurance Company.
She holds an MBA from the University of Warwick and a BSc. in Computer Science from the University of the West Indies where she was granted a scholarship from the Barbados Employers Confederation. Her executive education includes, among others, certifications in
